Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation and Lustgarten Foundation have joined forces to develop an early detection test, and ultimately, find a cure for pancreatic cancer. This event is a 5K certified, chip-timed Walk/Run starting and ending at Montrose Harbor. DASH for Detection is a family friendly event with plenty of activities, music, face painting,
a post-race Kid's Sprint, and even bagels and a food truck.
$1-$2 Limited paid parking (pay and display machine) is available in the Montrose Harbor, Wilson, and Foster Parking Lots. Exit Lake Shore Drive at Montrose, Wilson, or Foster Avenues. Limited street parking (free) is also available on Simonds Drive in the park between Montrose and Foster.

Start Line/Corral Information:
Your designated corral corresponds to the letter of the alphabet on your race bib. There are 3 corrals today - R for Runners / W for Walkers participating individually / G for Teams walking together
Corral assignment are based on the question that you answered during registration process and are designed to ensure that ALL registered runners and walkers are able to participate in the manner that they choose.
Corral R for Runners is designated more for those who will be running for a time today rather than those who will be walking or participating with their team. This corral will start First.
Corral W for Walkers is for those walkers who will be participating individually and are not a member of a team. This corral will start Second.
Corral G for Teams for those participants who will be staying with their respective teams during the run/walk. We do ask that you make sure that your groups are no more than 2 abreast on the race course and are aware of those who may be participating in a competitive manner. This corral will start Third.
If you happen to have a corral letter on your bib number that does not put you in the corral of how you intend to participate today, we ask that you do the following:
If you are running for a time please move to the R Corral
If you are walking as an individual please move to the W Corral
We do ask that large teams start in the G Corral. This will enable you to all stay together on the course.
