My dad passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2021. And then mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2022.

I have since become a Board of Director for the Rolfe Pancreatic Cancer Foundation. Rolfe has provided vital resources for families like mine. Rolfe funds early detection research, which saved my Mom's life. Rolfe also funds clinical trials and research to extend life expectancy. When my dad was diagnosed, the doctors only gave him a few months to live. He ended up living 19 months thanks to some of the clinical trials and research funded by organizations like Rolfe.

Those extra 19 months were invaluable. In that time, he got to see more of Tenley (whom he adored more than anyone in the world), meet Lincoln, and watch his beloved Dodgers win a World Series.

As grateful as I am for those beautiful 19 months, his time was still cut far too short.

The average 5-year survival rate for all stages of pancreatic cancer combined is only 12%. One day, that rate will increase and there will be a cure, and you will have played a role in us getting there.
